Welcome to Fight Club

Fight Club

Wednesday night was my second night at Fight Club. I love the informal atmosphere and how we end up staying at the Fiddler’s Elbow for 3-4 hours just yakking with whoever happens to be closest. Here’s a list of some of the people that were at Fight Club, most of whom I had a chance to talk to for at least a little bit.

I found out there that Nathan Nelson had been one of Seatability’s mentors at an entrepreneurial competition last year. I didn’t get to meet him because I was on a business trip in Asia visiting our factories in Taiwan and Vietnam, then going to Guangzhou in southern China to attend an incredibly enormous office furniture trade show. That strayed from the topic a little bit, but that show boggles my mind. Anyhow, he’s interested in going to China and filling his new house with brand new furniture (see next post). I gave him some contacts I have there where he can get some sweet prices.

I highly recommend Fight Club to anyone, though you have to know somebody in it to attend, as it is by invitation only. I just wish they were held a little more often.

It was great to see you at the dinner the other night. Glad to see you’ve jumped into blogging to. I’m stoked to follow your progress at Seatability!
